HMC/CAH desires to become an industry leading consolidator of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs).  As part of the acquisition HMC/CAH will replace the old hospital with a new state of the art facility. 

Since 1982, HMC/CAH and its predecessor companies have provided consulting, development, and management services to more than 800 hospitals throughout the United States.  HMC/CAH Consolidated, Inc. was formed in April 2007. 

The business existing prior to the formation of HMC/CAH was formally known as Hospital Management Consulting (HMC) and was founded in 2000 to specialize in the management, operation, strategic and financial planning, and new service development for inpatient and outpatient healthcare providers.
